Please indicate the requirements of your project, any activities you would like included, or the type of companies, organisations or educational establishments you would like to identify as host enterprises for study visits, professional observations. For work placements please indicate the fields of interest of each member of your group. *

V. SPANISH LANGUAGE ABILITY OF BENEFICIARIES

Spain is a Spanish-speaking country and Spanish language is crucial for successful projects in Spain. For Exchanges and Observations you may bring a Spanish-speaking member to act as interpreter, or engage the services of a Spanish interpreter. For Work Experience participants must have an intermediary level of Spanish. Participants must have enough Spanish ability to understand their duties and communicate with their supervisors and colleagues. For participants with no Spanish background we recommend 2-4 weeks language training as the first part of the programme. After the completion of language training, if participants do not have enough Spanish ability to interview successfully in their field, they can be placed in areas that do not need as much Spanish or make use of any English abilities. Participants are evaluated on an ongoing basis and when they can interview successfully, they may move into a placement in their field of interest.
